It is an honor to extend the warmest welcome to the Central America and Caribbean Climate Governance Chapter, as well as to the international network we form together with the 32 chapters of the Climate Governance Initiative (CGI) present around the world. In collaboration with the World Economic Forum, we are committed to supporting the board member community in reaching the zero emissions target by 2050. We are deeply motivated by having your experience, commitment, and leadership in this crucial mission.

Our chapter is a nonprofit organization, formed by four founding partners who share the vision of a sustainable future. These partners are INCAE, the Red Integrarse, Rodrigo Zamora, and myself, as independent directors. We have come together with the purpose of supporting you in your efforts to integrate the Net Zero commitment into the strategy of the companies you oversee.

At a time when sustainability and environmental responsibility have become fundamental pillars for business success and resilience, your role in this process is more relevant than ever. As part of this initiative, you will have the opportunity to participate in educational sessions, workshops, and meetings with business leaders who are at the forefront of climate governance.
